Slow Fire

No Discharge in War

The world is in chaos. Global resource shortages, climate change, and economic collapse have created the perfect storm that plunged nations around the world into calamity. Amidst the crisis, two factions rose to prominence, becoming the two global superpowers – the Emissary and the Armistice. As tensions continued to rise, it was only a matter of time before the two factions clashed, sparking an open war that engulfed the planet.

Elsie, a hardened survivor from the suburbs of Germany, has slowly lost her sense of morality after the loss of her home and husband. She lives with her best friend, Sabrina, in a cabin out in the woods – away from everyone else. One day, a strange opportunity arises, and she meets a young boy named Adam. Shortly after, a skirmish between the two factions breaks out within the woods, and their cabin is at risk of being destroyed. With no other choice, Adam is forced together with Elsie and Sabrina, and the three must travel across a desolate and war-torn Europe in search of a feint hope for their future.
